I understand too! Right to the point! I hope you can get what you want!

Ugh. So sorry for your frustration. I cried most of yesterday because all I want to do is clean my house. (Chemo exhaustion….can’t even knit much) Thought of your post yesterday when my husband said “Hey, it could be worse”. He’s right, of course, but I still wanted to smack ‘im!
I’m rooting for another pain rebound for you asap. Thanks again for another great post. Simple, to the point, and validating.

I can so empathize with that double whammy: exhaustion and the desire to clean the house. I have opted for a housekeeper to come in regularly. But that may not be an affordable option for many. An organization called Cleaning for a Reason (http://www.cleaningforareason.org/) provides free cleaning services (there is a limit) for cancer patients.

I put off getting a housekeeper, but once I did I was so relieved and had such a weight lifted from my shoulders. I cant quite explain it. When you like to clean or you’re good at it, not having the energy to do it is a real kick in the gut.

  4. You sound very frustrated, have you ever given any thought to mindfulness practice? I do it and find it helpful – it is quite remarkable. I offer it to my cancer patients, not everyone takes me up on the offer, but the ones that do find it helpful. Hope your day improves. I am always amazed at the support we can offer to each other through the ether without ever meeting them. Technology has become an incredible way of connecting with warmth, compassion and kindness. I feel I know you!
