Join me in Philadelphia–my hometown and the City of Brotherly Love–for the LBBC Annual Conference for Women Living with Metastatic Breast Cancer: Enhancing Your Health and Quality of Life.  This is my first conference and I’m really looking forward to it.

Registration is $75 per person. In addition to all educational programming, the registration fee includes a continental breakfast, lunch and a networking reception on Saturday, as well as a continental breakfast and networking reception on Sunday. To register, call (610) 645-4567. Pre-registration is strongly preferred.  (I will update the registration link as soon as it is corrected–the 2012 app is there just now.)

Your home town is Philly….. mine is Reading! Lived there for the first 40 yrs of my life. I have not been to any of the conferences or workshops for either of my cancers, but am certainly open to it. I hope you are able to make some good connections and pickup on a wealth of knowledge to share. Enjoy your trip back “home”! :).

I have not been to that conference because it is a little far. But I find these conferences to be great and inspiring and really supportive. So many people there who understand what you are coping with and can offer so many shoulders to lean on. Have a wonderful time!

Here’s another one for you. The Stowe Weekend of Hope held at the beginning of May every year ( and is free to those with cancer the first year and a minor fee the following years. Up in the VT mountains you get support and help as well as a lovely weekend. They have an all day session on Friday on breast cancer. I have been twice and found it great.

    Good luck and have fun!
