Chemo brain strikes again. Ijust sent you a blank email. Oops.
I was diagnosed with BC in April, 2003, and with metastatic liver and brain “lesions” in 2004. All tumors are gone thanks to chemo and radiation. I wouldn’t say I have chemo brain at this point. It’s pretty much radiation brain.
Enough of that. I, too, have been repulsed by pink. For about 10 years. And in all that time, I have been unable to someone else who didn’t feel “blessed” by having had breast cancer. You are like a breath of fresh air, and I’m not being sarcastic.
I don’t have anything in particular to say, because I have “been in remission” for 5+ years and spent much of that time trying to forget about it. However, now I’m dealing with a list of side effects: osteoporosis, post-menopausal at 43 (since I was about 35), dysfunctional lady parts, memory loss, cognitive dysfunction.
Anyway, I am glad to have found your site, and I look forward to receiving reality-based posts about this disease.
Thank you for being so open and sharing in this way.
